The Client, a Real Estate Company, was using various online marketing methods to improve their presence and grow their business.
The challenge was the overwhelming number of reports, excel sheets, google sheets being used for reporting and analyzing what is going right and wrong. This made taking decisions very slow and hard for the executives. They had to juggle between multiple platforms to understand the performance and reports of each of them.
Challenges: Outdated, cumbersome Reporting methods and Siloed Data.
The solution that I had proposed to them was an Executive Centralized Dashboard to create a single source of truth on the hand of executives to take data-driven decisions on the same.
The business was using their website, a CRM Tool – Insightly, Facebook primarily for Social Media, AdWords for paid marketing and MailChimp for their Email Marketing. For each of them, they had to login to multiple tools, look at their reports, their analytics etc – which led to a waste of time and siloed reporting where the big picture is often missing of where the business is headed and what to do next. The focus becomes only on the tool rather than on the big picture of growing your business
So – the first step was bringing everything into one centralized tool that can handle all the data sources. Then we had to build dashboards with the most relevant KPIs for each of the data sources for the business. We chose Domo for all this work and went ahead in setting up all the dashboards
Now, I will be showing just samples and parts of the executive dashboards that we built for our client and some results that they had with it.
Note: All client sensitive information has been removed and only sample data has been shown in all examples below. All black/brown shaded are sensitive data which have been hidden.

The Final Results of Executive Dashboard
The results and benefits of the executive dashboard were as follows:
- Time Savings: This dashboard saved them 100+ hours of manual reporting every single month. This enabled them to spend time analyzing the data, then capturing it and just reporting it.
- Single Source of Truth: Before this dashboard, they were using multiple platforms and had to keep checking them all the time, now there is a single source of truth which is constantly maintained and also gives reminders, updates in the form of emails.
- Actionable Business Insights: Most importantly, the dashboards help build actionable insights out of the dashboard at each step of the way. These insights drove most of the decision and actions were taken in each part of the business. They were able to optimize their marketing efforts, focus on the right aspects and not waste time on the minutia.
All of these results led the client to build a healthy culture of data-driven decision making in their business.

The tab at the top shows all the “pages” as Domo calls it. You can add Pages – Sub-pages and there can be various dashboards within each of them. This is the list of dashboards that were built for now.
